Here is the latest report on the status of trails in Truckee

Donner Lake Rim Trail

The Donner Lake Rim trail is melting out quickly but still has quite a bit of snow on the upper part of the trail. The lower portion, until you get pretty close to Glacier way is clear, so you can get a few miles of dirt but have to wait to get into Tahoe Donner or connect to Johnsonh canyon.

Sawtooth Trail

The Sawtooth is not quite ready. There is still too much snow to ride this trail.

Emigrant Trail

The Emigrant trail is ready to go! It is only snow free to the bench at the high point about 3 miles in from the Hobart Millsills parking area. Although it is short, this first section is perfect tacky dirt with just a few small stream crossings.
